Power-Speaking: Exploring the Physicality, Spontaneity, and Power of Public Speaking

Date January 30, 2018
Location Oxford Properties
Time 4:00PM - 6: 00PM

“According to most studies, people’s number one fear is public speaking.

Number two is death. Death is number two! Does that sound right?

This means to the average person, if you go to a funeral, you’re better off in the casket than doing the eulogy.”

-Jerry Seinfeld-

Is this you? Are you tired of the nerves and stress associated with speaking and presenting? Do you get frustrated and tongue-tied at meetings? Are you ready to make your voice heard? Come join your fellow Toronto CREW members for Power Speaking!
This program will reduce anxiety and fear associated with presenting and increase your comfort with public speaking and thinking on your feet while in meetings. Our facilitators, Bad Dog Theatre will conduct workshops, using fun improv exercises and performance games to creatively explore skills around communication, public speaking, spontaneity and collaboration. The program consists of three improv workshops and one small-group vocal coaching session. Space is limited to 20 Member participants; don’t miss your chance to participate!
