If you are a Grade 11 or 12 high school student identifying as female and considering your career options, then Toronto CREW invites you to our REAL Jobs Day event to experience what it is like to be in commercial real estate.
There’s more to a career in the commercial real estate industry than you might think!

Do you enjoy engaging with people and providing positive customer experiences?
A career as a Tenant Services Manager or Community Manager providing services, marketing tenant amenities and establishing positive relationships with tenants might be a good fit.

Are you creative and do you find design inspiration everywhere? Are you a problem solver and enjoy working in a team?
A career a Commercial Interior Designer might be something you want to consider! Or perhaps you have an affinity for building things? Architects are key players in the commercial real estate industry.

Are you good with numbers? Are you inquisitive and have an inclination for problem solving?
Property Accountants are integral to the successful management of commercial properties. Or consider working for service providers in the industry such as commercial mortgage companies.

Do you find yourself wondering about how structures are built and are interconnected? Do you enjoy solving problems with technology?
In a career as a Construction or Operations or Facility Manager you would be managing the construction or the renovation of a building. You’d use technology to provide safe, efficient and sustainable work places.

REAL Jobs Day is an excellent way to learn about career opportunities in commercial real estate through a day of activities that include a walk-through CF Toronto Eaton Centre, panel session and fun and engaging activities. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet and network with professionals working in a variety of fields in the commercial real estate sector.

Registration Process
- All grade 11 and 12 high school students who identify as female and teachers must be registered by clicking on the Register link below. Teachers can register themselves and all their students.
- Toronto CREW members can register their Grade 11 and 12 children below.
- Attending students must complete this Media Release Form and send the signed form to Sam Torrens as soon as possible.
Please note that there are a limited number of spaces for this event.
Registrations will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis.
If you are a Guidance Counsellor or a Faculty Administrator from another School Board and/or Private School, please email Sam Torrens. Let us know approximately how many students will be attending and have all participating students complete a Media Release Form and return to Sam Torrens as soon as possible.
Volunteer for REAL Jobs Day!
Toronto CREW invites you to be a volunteer for REAL Jobs Day and help us inform high school students in Grades 11 and 12 about career options in Commercial Real Estate. Volunteers will assist small groups of students in learning activities that take place at
CF Toronto Eaton Centre and at
Toronto Metropolitan University.
