Join us for an informative and interactive workshop that provides you with historical and current information about Indigenous rights and Reconciliation.

Participants will engage in topics covering truth, reconciliation and belonging. This workshop will engage participants through interactive activities and discussions to understand the significance of the Two-Row Wampum Belt Treaty. Through a series of knowledge-building activities, discussion, and self-reflection, participants will learn how they can disrupt patterns of complacency and oppression and participate in creating inclusion. Participants will leave with the symbolic bracelet of raw hide and beads that they create in the workshop as well as the book “21 Things You May Not Know About the Indian Act” by Bob Joseph to continue their learning journey.
