Save the date for this beginner’s workshop is the next step in the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) journey that will focus on tools, resources, and frameworks to support authentic allyship. Facilitated by Sheliza Jamal, from CuratED Leadership, participants will understand the value of allyship and how it is an important step towards challenging oppression. In building authentic allyship, there is much to unlearn and learn. Mistakes are expected, however lack of self-awareness is not a trait of an ally. Therefore embracing the daily work of doing better is essential.

- Define allyship
- Identify various types of allyship from productive to performative allyship.
- Understand what allyship looks like in practice in personal and professional environments.
- Gain tools and strategies to support their ongoing journey towards authentic allyship.
