After serving as co-chair of the committee that was instrumental in bringing the CREW Network convention to Toronto, (the first time that it was held outside of the USA), Marta Lewycky became Toronto CREW's President in 2006. For her, the Convention was a rewarding and memorable experience that put Toronto CREW on the map. She felt that having senior women collaborate in a supportive environment was a truly unique opportunity for the Chapter.
Marta joined First Capital Realty as Vice President, Legal Affairs in 2005, having previously been a partner at McCarthy Tétrault LLP. Her experience covers a wide range including the acquisition, development, construction, financing, leasing and franchising of commercial, industrial, retail, mixed-use, and hospitality properties.
